Anyone have a recommended ring compressor kit? You know the ones that are basically plastic bands you squeeze to compress the ring...

I see them all over ebay and they all look the same. They are usually under $10. I'm headed over to HL Supply to check what they have. Maybe there's one out there that's not worth the money? What do you know?

I picked up a set of the ring compressors from Fordf150- Nate a couple years ago, they work great. I cant imagine messing with popsicle sticks, for around $10 the kit is the only way to fly in IMO

Damn, I would have bought 4 sets at that price.

You would have to be a dinosaur like me, been working on these things since the early 60`s and have accumulated a lot of tools. Have ring compressors for pistons from 1.5" up to 5.75" dia, won`t see then in any chainsaws though.
