It might be of interest to some of you
Sold new in 1983 by a local dealer to a local farm contractor for silage work, at the time around here it was the biggest around ( far cry nowadays) It has a air-cooled 6 cylinder engine, with a distinctive whine that could be heard miles away. Fast forward to late 80 early 90s it was purchased by our family for farm but more so for timber extraction work, it was a major advancement compared to the little masseys that we had. The hour meter stopped working in early 2000s with 14000 hours, it now has in excess of 25000 hours, like all Italians the irish climate wrecked havoc on it, now I think it deserves to be restored and retired to like work.
I'm going to use this site to document its progress with a hope of other members finding it interesting.
It's not going to be the quickest thread on here as I'm working fulltime and parts are expensive and very hard to find

Is that the Hercules? 160 hp according to tractor data

Edit: I now see it is a tiger six 105. I didn't look that good as there were no pictures at my first response. Nice tractor.

tiger 6, modest 105 hp
Bigger than my Deutz D7007. Also from that era. Mine has unknown hours on it, also oil cooled. I have had mine for 8 years now, it was used hard on a chicken farm with a westendorf loader to clean poo. My neighbors thought I was foolish for buying it as it was on it's last legs. 2nd gear has a mean clunk, so I don't use it. I consider it a 9 speed forward and three reverse. Have yet to find that I wished I had a 2nd gear in any range.

Those air/oil cooled engines were definitely overbuilt.

Those deutz have quite a following here, yes nothing can touch those style tractors for traction, I often stood out of the cab on mine level on to the ground, nothing can beat them on soft ground

Following with interest Oisin. Love me some Same's.
Friend of ours has a Delfino 35. His know-it-all neighbour once said "you should scrap that tractor, it only ever runs on three cylinders".

Brian's reply "hallelujah, it only left the factory with two cylinders, it's improving...". :)

Two cylinder motor for the unaware.

In too. Will say I hate those front tires. Have a magnum that came through with them. They’re awful. Lol.
