So, I gave my old faithful Poulan BC2400 weed eater a new engine (which really didn't cost much) in 2021 for it's 20th birthday and it has been great since then. Until the throttle trigger broke this week, part number 530036556. Come to find out, it's NLA and nowhere to be found. Guess there's just not much market for people who squeeze the most hours possible out of cheap machines!
I got to looking at different ones that are available and found the 530049107 looks super close. It's only 8 bux so I went on and ordered it. Turns out it is a perfect fit in every way except the original trigger spring won't work with it. Which isn't much of a problem, I just say it has cruise control now!
