That's an early jug. When the 046 first came out, it was a real factory hotrod and the saw to have. I pre-ordered two from the local dealership about two months before they were due to arrive for the fire crew I was working on at the time. I still believe the early jugs have the best timing for those and the 1309 coil is the one to have. The 1309 had a higher failure rate though than the other poly flywheel coils. Ported, they can be a real beast if done properly. From what I've seen, Deets has a great recipe for them.

I have a 1309 and 1311 that work, but I know it will only be a matter of time before they fail.

Sweet build.. but I have a question, if the squish is .35 or 6 with out a gasket ant it a bit big with a gasket..

looking fwd to the Firsts cutts and a bit of modding Here and there..:zpong:
