Paint the end grain, then as you stack it with sticks between the slabs, you can put saw dust on each slab. It will slow the drying process. We don’t have that problem with lumber here in the north east but I like to do green wood carving of bow”s and spoons, putting the carving in a pile of wood chips, shaving slows things down@lehman live edge slab how do I keep it from drying to fast and cracking? It’s warm and dry here.
