I think I set it up for 2 weeks time. I guess when it's up we can decide what length. Looks like 3/8" will be the winner.

Did any one mention it on FHC?

That would be cool. So far looks like the majority wants to do a short bar.

Mike since you are willing and able to. With so few folks into building chains now days to see what they can gain for race and work. Why not do them both? If you have the saw cc that can do both.

I will step aside and you can do the longer bar 404 28" 063 and the shorter 3/8 20" 050. Just keep them in separate list IMO.

Next thing would be to choose a gear for each and cc stock or woods ported saw have fun.

That works for me. 404 can be work chain or race chain if someone feels so inclined.

I have plenty of power heads to choose from 562 to 3120 with some stihls in there too. Up to 11 pin sprockets as well

Should we start a poll for the powerhead? 394 sounds good for the 28" 404. You think it will pull it? [emoji6]

20" what we going to do for it with race chains?

I'll have to copy paste here. I just posted on CR.

Maybe you could do it. I am getting back to the BB game.

I've never done a race chain but I want to do quite a bit to the 404, what do you consider a work chain?

If someone wants to go all out we can have work and race chain like we did the 63 ps and 325. What is the DL count for 28" 404?

I'm going to start playing with chains...
So from what I gather, 2 types of chain can be entered?

20" 3/8 .50
28" 404 .63
