I was flipping through channels one day last week, and saw some logging, it was Ax Men. Some guy just pulled a saw missing the top cover out from between some logs and started yelling at the guys working for him. Narrator said the $1000 saw got crushed. I notice the handle is all black plastic, and cheap looking, so I try to identify it. 28" bar, but the bar stud slot is showing some, kinda odd. I couldn't make out the name on the plate, but based on what I could see of the starter cover I'm thinking maybe 391/362. Then I get a glimpse of the flat topped cylinder and finally the air filter. It was a ms170. Not even Piltz charges $1000 for a 28" 170/180

I think I need another saw....probably three more.....this year.
Begin with these:
Dolmar PS-5105/Makita EA5000
Dolmar PS-6100/Makita EA6100
Dolmar PS-7310/Makita EA7300
Dolmar PS-7910/Makita EA7900
Dolmar PS-9010

Ya me too...
There is no such thing as too many chainsaws!

I’m happy, I cut trees all day, I even collect axes. Why doesn’t anyone send me a free ported saw?
'Cause you don't have a cool nickname. I mean which sounds cooler, "Buckin' Billy Ray!" or "Ketchup"? I'm thinking if your name was "Gen-u-wine Tomato Ketchup" and you had a Youtube channel the free stuff would come pouring in!

I would like to recognize some of the page sponsors HL Supply for helping me out a couple of weeks ago. I needed a crankshaft next day and I thought it was too late in the day for a next day air, but they pulled it off. Great job HL Supply!

Another sponsor that I often use is CCC, Dave. His products are consistently reliable and always arrive when expected or sooner. Thank you Dave!
