The retreads in the late 90's were $2000 a tire for D.C-8's
Seen a lot blown out cause of anti skid failure ? Seven was the most. DC-8 only has 8 main tires. Mechanics had to change all in middle of the runway. New young pilots with heavy loads lock em up they always blow out in an X pattern in middle of tire ?
