I could be making 1-2 more dollars an hour plus save on gas if I worked at kwik trip with my ma, but I’d rather work harder for less pay on a cattle ranch since for some reason I’d rather do that than work inside around tons of people.

LOL, Kwik Trip is fast becoming Wisconsin‘s staple motor fuel/grocery store/restaurant. I use the self check-out whenever possible as I don‘t get asked for my Kwik rewards card which I don‘t have and then asked if I want to sign up. I do notice a revolving door of employees, at least here.

There is zero doubt the state taxes are an issue. The prices I quoted were Iowa prices 5 miles away. You would drop a turd at the Illinois prices due to our communist tax.

I do have to wonder though what ethanol blend the gas you quoted is and if that diesel is soy fuel.
