Thanks bud. I'll just say, long story short. I had three byoptsy's taken from my mouth about 2 weeks ago and all are cancerous, not full blown (yet) but not good either way. Gotta be monitored every three months. Most importantly to help myself I gotta stop dipping tobacco and fast. When a cancer doctor tells you that news and that you are now his patient... it really is a very sinking feeling.

Yep. Scrafice a new filter to make sure it is built to do what you expect of it. This bosch filter is made real nice! Also made in the USA which is a plus!

Exactly, it’s even amazing how much variation there is among the same brand! Yes fram is junk, I guess at regular intervals it would be ok, but it’s junk to me! Lol When I first got my filter cutter I cut open the fram I had in my pickup, the pleats had almost collapsed! Have liked the wix for the most part, same with Napa gold, a wix filter, but sometimes they are different, it crazy how much they vary! The worst was a fram that the pleats were over an inch short in the filter can, I couldn’t believe it, they put a small filter in a big can

Guy brings his truck in because his right rear turn signal does not work.



Too much corrosion near the terminal, and GM does not offer the terminal, so I replace the jumper harness.
Guy is adamant that I splice his topper wiring back in.
So, I do.
Then everything goes sideways. Turn signal wont work. Brake lamp wont work.



The left side is also a butchered mess.
I go grab the customer to show him whats going on and what I need to repair.
He proceeds to tell me that he cant believe the topper place did that because they have been doing it a long time (in business 10 years) and I dont know what Im doing..
I fixed the right side so the lights worked. Ate my time on it, and sent it on its way.

Prick.

If a customer won't pay for a correct repair and is being a dick, i won't do a correct repair.

Various lenths of odd gauge wire and unsealed crimp connectors here i come!

Cant waste time on this when quality customers appreciate what you do for them.
