Ran Motorcraft oil and filters in my 6.4 & 6.0 figured ford puts there name on it for a reason

The 6.4 filter was a fram. I’ve been running wild if I change this one myself. Delo or motorcraft for oil in 10W30. Valvoline 5w40

Motorcraft filter and rotella synthetic 10w30.

I run motorcradt filters and we get 5-40 syn in bulk.

Wal-Mart was generally cheapest, by a pretty substantial margin compared to advance auto. Run shell rotella in dump truck and been buying it cheap @ Napa $60 for 5 gallons

Yes your right there , it costs me $40 bucks a gallon
I gotta vw toureag 3.0 v6 just had it remapped gained 25% more power
And better economy , so new oil every 3-4K is a cheaper option

Fram makes some *s-wordty filters. But I guess for a 6.4 it’s good enough.

I try to use better than OEM parts if I can, and OEM if that’s the best available.

I use some Bosch filters i found for my 300 i6. They are some nice filters and dry weigh twice what a motorcraft fl-1a does.

I cut all of my filter open nowadays, then you know what your getting! I bought one of the cutters years ago, it’s an eye opener

I was surprised when I seen that. I know for Cummins Fram was a no go back in the 90s. Wix has been my o to filter for 10 years or longer. I use motorcraft when I buy the stuff at Walmart.

Follow up appointment at the ortho doc. New cast and MRI next weekend, at least 2 more weeks off. Comp don't pay much and don't pay it reliably. I'm broke and so bored, have wood to split and can't. Really I can't do much. Its getting old!....

I am however enjoying a few Busch Lights so...

Yep. Scrafice a new filter to make sure it is built to do what you expect of it. This bosch filter is made real nice! Also made in the USA which is a plus!

Glad its getting better. Sucks you're still out for awhile. I need to move north. Seems thats where most you fellas hang out!

My dad still exclusively uses fram for all his vehicles and equipment. Has longer than i have been alive. I dont know how he gets that lucky...
