If I ever get that good, you'll be one of the first my friend.

I did today's forge work at @blacksmith's shop, I have all the stuff to put my own forge together just haven't had the time.

Once I get it all up and going, I'll be making stuff almost weekly. I will be making a batch of these curved and straight draw knives in the coming months and I'll let you guys know first when they are ready to go. Once you see how nice this set is when it's done, you will see I don't take shortcuts. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to making stuff.
That's a sign that I would make a U turn for,
OCD Quality Smithy Work,
We won't let the forge cool, til it's wrought...

Says the OCD guy...

I'm anxious to complete them, and I'll be carving a set of hammer handles with them to make sure they hold a good edge.

These little draw knives work fantastic for carving hatchet and hammer handles. Makes really quick work of it. I'm in love with the curved blade knife. It's 's copy of one I have that dates to the mid 1700s, it's a fantastic design.

Stay tuned....

Sorry to hear about Your health issues @Adirondackstihl , I hope everything goes well.

With the current items donated to the raffle I think it should run it as long as possible, give folks a chance to donate!

An unexpected extra coin is not in everyone's budget, but come next paycheck it might turn up after all.

This raffle is epic!

I would suggest a drawing date of the weekend of Mar 17 / 18th.

That would allow anyone that is paid biweekly or semi-monthly to have as many as 3 more pay periods and chances to donate again.

Maybe we can channel the "Luck of the Irish" and do the drawing on St. Patty's day ?

Gary I was thinking, as big as the prize pool is, we should let it run until the end of March, maybe have the drawing on Easter Sunday? Or March 31, will be my sweet Grandmas 90th birthday. :D

Joe, my only concern would be procrastinators waiting and waiting. A shorter time frame does create a sense of urgency to get in.

@Adirondackstihl Thoughts? Someone make a decision...

Over $3500 now, pretty sure you owe us a story...
I'll work on that tonight.

Here is the carb. It's beat up more than I thought.

I am able to draw off of the GFM.
They do daily deposits to my checking account.
So we can let it run for however long you guys feel is necessary.
I’m gonna leave the cutoff date for @Mastermind and/or @Onan18 to choose.

Shauna and I are VERY fortunate for all of this.
We will be reserving her hotel room this week as the hospital is 3+ hours from home. Not sure how we’d manage to do that without your help.
She can now stay with me at the hospital for the duration of my stay.
Her mom and sister will be taking care of the boys while we are away.
