Got the raw forge work done to the raffle draw knives today, going to lathe up some curly cherry or maple for the handles tomorrow, should have them finished up and ready to go by Tuesday....

Got the raw forge work done to the raffle draw knives today, going to lathe up some curly cherry or maple for the handles tomorrow, should have them finished up and ready to go by Tuesday....

Just tinker around with it when I get time, but I will be making a lot of these draw knives in the coming months. I made these today out of an old Jeep leaf spring, they will be strong and should hold a nice edge. I might try a broad axe someday down the road.....if I ever get a chance.

I will be forging a Templar or Scottish sword someday too......that's on my bucket list!

Just tinker around with it when I get time, but I will be making a lot of these draw knives in the coming months. I made these today out of an old Jeep leaf spring, they will be strong and should hold a nice edge. I might try a broad axe someday down the road.....if I ever get a chance.

I will be forging a Templar or Scottish sword someday too......that's on my bucket list!

If you decide to sell any of your drawknives,put me down if there is an extra in inventory.
Leaf springs are handy to collect for materials. I made a froe from one and several large tire spoons.
I could send you a kilt from the Frazier clan to forge your Scottish sword in! ? Let me know...

I did today's forge work at @blacksmith's shop, I have all the stuff to put my own forge together just haven't had the time.

Once I get it all up and going, I'll be making stuff almost weekly. I will be making a batch of these curved and straight draw knives in the coming months and I'll let you guys know first when they are ready to go. Once you see how nice this set is when it's done, you will see I don't take shortcuts. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to making stuff.
