Well, that's a backup for when the screws all fall out of the Husqvarna, of course. :)
I think you just threw gas on the @RIChevy fire right there. I'll check in with our Scout run sugarshack soon! Good luck with the sugaring season! @paragonbuilder I need to remember to bring some real Lancaster MA maple syrup to your GTG maybe @drf256 can integrate into the cooking somehow. @wcorey can vouch for the quality he's had some.

Very cool to see the lathe action shots. Need more snow Dan so you can get trapped in your shop again.

Just getting caught up on this thread. Awesome thread.

Got Kyle’s jug on the lathe and centered up. I’ll cut it in the AM.

Nice Co-Ax! :babeando:

Thanks Joe!
I need to get some better indicating stand/ holders...
But I’ve got everything dialed in and ready to cut! And I found the boring bar holder @mdavlee said was with the stuff I got from him.

Is it possible to mount your co-ax in the drill chuck in the tailstock?

Sure. I don’t see why not. I tried to use it for my cross slide Orientation in that pic, because I was having trouble mounting a dial indicator with what I have. But it doesn’t have enough travel. So I had to rework things a little.

Chores came first, and my tailstock needed adjustment, so it took me a while, but finally my 262 mandrel is done.

Now I need to determine how much to take off the base. That will hopefully be tomorrow morning.

That’s ok. If you know what you are looking to know, I can measure for you [emoji41]

You gave me what I need bud. I’m just trying to figure out if a lathe I know of for sale near me will have a big enough chuck for Saw work.
