I really like these just as photos. They also show how subtle differences matter. I keep scrolling up and down to compare.
I agree. I kept doing the same thing.LOL

I also keep picking them up, grabbing a flashlight and comparing the ports. So much to learn and digest.

20240315_044605.jpg20240315_044557.jpgcs-330t Echo, although I don't do any climbing these little Echoes come in really handy and pull a 14-16bar well, and are super cheap.
The bottom transfers are kind of shrouded by the bearing pockets though? And I've thought about opening them up a little?

I’m pretty sure I’ve got the 365 cylinder at home. I believe it’s a quad but it’s open port. For some reason I’m thinking they made 365’s both open and closed port.

Maybe only 365Special is closed port?

@Ketchup , I am not sure if this qualifies as a quad. This is a 103cc cylinder from a 1947 Reed-Prentice (Craftsman) 1200b chainsaw. The dividers in the transfer are only about 1/2" tall then the chamber becomes one. If I remember correctly (I need to look again and take better pictures), I believe there are twelve holes into the cylinder for the transfers, intake and exhaust.
