guess it kinda like Mopar debacle- the Dodge Charger of today vs the Dodge Charger of yesterday, Challenger the same, Dart the same. To think how far a Dart has fallen- to Neon status! Named the same, but they aint the same.

This is a smile maker this is stuffed full of bananas version 288 xp. Loves to chew wood . I have 2 ported and a brand new on its way ! 1 of the ported may have to go

Another with a ks cylinder and a hda 87 .

In truth, Id rather have a 2 series than any other saw. It's noteworthy, that others have stated that the 262 is overrated, but it's the 1st 2 series saw that is mentioned in this thread...... .

Some will always say that a saw model that gets a lot of attention is overrated. Some times it is true, some times not....

Are you referring to me running it left-handed (I'm ambidextrous), wearing the back-brace (I had my L5-S1 disc removed and the joint fused at the end of August and this was taken in Sept) or bent like that (I'm 6'2" and the bucking stand was short)?

Yes, it was uncomfortable, but even with a freshly fused joint, I had to play some as I ain't dead yet....

My favorite is the 266xpg. I've sold all the other 2xx stuff I had. Maybe 8-10 288

I dont have experience with many of the 2 series, but the 262 got me into huskys. I now own 5 of them, 4 with KS jugs and 87 carbs and 1 with Mahle 120 carb. Definately a good saw. The 266 intrigues me too.
