I was looking for power that wasn't there and got a transfer to big and it cost me a set of 064 cases,crank,066 p&c.
Ain't the first time and it won't be the last.

I whish I had pics of the piston, it was in 30 little peices.

Yes, all weld Brian.

I bought some 6061 plate the correct thickness for future repairs.

That's great Al.
I would think using some plate would be a much faster and probably a little cheaper.
Than burning through a bunch of Rods.

This was my first porting attempt.
I opened up the lowers a bit and raised the uppers a couple degrees, but now that I know more I plan to take some from the squish, sand the base and gt the timings better.
The intake is at 69*

Wasn't to loud really,. Kinda just locked up tight with a sorta squeak noise.

I'm not trying to measure peckers but mine was worse,nothing left that even resembled a piston. Rod and wrist pin was all I had,busted the bottom of the cases out to.
I was tuning it,bout 14k she hung.
It wasn't loud either,just stopped. Lol
