I'm a hack at best. Lots of more knowledgable people have helped me out. Most aren't on forums any more though. Lots of cool stuff on competitions saws in the hot saw threads. Adam and some of those guys do amazing stuff.

Another piece of art. @Poleman ported this 5100s cylinder. I keep all of the different port photos on my phone since its really difficult to show what's been done to make them run so well when it's all together.

Except the 2188 you showed had a super wide looking intake!!! It just looked real wide to me. The 6100 looked almost as wide.

There is alot of truth in what you just said Mike, the fact remains that the basic are still the same. There are saws built that the Internet has no clue about.
