Im loving this thread , and learning alot about port work....
But seriously my hands look like dog paws that have been through greasy machines, compared to the hands I see on here!
I'm starting to think porting is definitely a art form for skilled craftsmen.
Chicken legs seem to be a requirement. @Mastermind has a nice pair

You guys need some ZEP cherry bomb and a scrub brush.

I like cherry bomb, I want to try the walnut shell base stuff next and see if it's as good as applause.

I like the gojo handi bucket of wipes , they work well on saw parts like plastics I dont want to discolor also.

You guys ever find something to rub into your hands before working on an engine. I've tried coconut oil and it works for a short job, but nothing seems to work for any length of time.

There’s a product called gloves in a bottle. It works well if using it like that. Def protects the hands. I used it before I would paint and the clean up was always a breeze. We got it at the local scub store for medical clothing.
