Stock intake pics, and the cylinder needed the screw pockets clearanced as well as the corner of a fin before it would mount on the saw. I like how the exhaust is lower than OEM, and the squish was huge, so I could just cut the base, keep the gasket, and end up around 105.

I'll find out this weekend or next. I did it to my JD 56, but didn't do a before and after of that mod alone, so I don't know what the gains are.

MS461 Stock with gasket was 70/121/106, ended up at 81/119/101. This was in for repairs and performance work. I’ll head out in the morning and do some testing. We’ll see how it runs, I may go a little further with it. Going to be a work/play saw.

Thanks @Duke Thieroff for the rear handle/tank. Housing went back on the saw with all of the OEM linkages, fuel vent and line. Tank held pressure with no leaks. Yay!! Saved Almost $100 over one at the parts counter.

Im loving this thread , and learning alot about port work....
But seriously my hands look like dog paws that have been through greasy machines, compared to the hands I see on here!
I'm starting to think porting is definitely a art form for skilled craftsmen.
