The 199s are getting tougher to find though. Has anyone tried a 191?

I never had one 191 myself, all I've seen is pictures of 191, but it seems that it has accelerator pump, while 190/198 seems to come without the pump.

Randy, didn't you detail how to mod the tank vent in one of your threads??? (And I'm the Stihl guy!!!)

I did.......but I took it too far. Drilling into the tank is not needed on a work saw.

The 357 carb alone gives you 10%

IMO not needed for a firewood cutter though.

agree, I can't remember if it was an 174 or 175 carb I used on one of my 357's, I wouldnt hestinate at all to get more of them, it was at least on same level as any of those 199 I have.
