Not to derail but is it worth finding a KS jug and hda 87 over a mahle and hda120?
The 87 definitely makes a difference on a ported 262. I've seen it first hand on the same saw.If having ported not really on the cylinder. Mahle will make a good candidate. On carb yes. If you can find one and someone is willing to sell it. They are unicorns and hard to come by.
People just want the KS jug and with hda87 combo because it is the hardest to find in original form. Its not that they perform better after work and prob not alot better even if left untouched. People just want them cause few have them. They are a 262 status symbol imo.
here's his video's. I watch them every so often, He know's what he's doing that's for sure.
Youtube recommended the 562 with 30" Tamara bar to me on a whim the other day. Subscribed to hotsaws101. His felling videos are the type you could watch over and over taking in the skill he has. I used to watch ax men mainly to see felling but they show too much yarder drama. Anyone who is highly skilled at what they do I watch with much respect. Skilled operators with plain ability are usually the most modest and nicest guys... and simply the best at what they do. Bonus that hotsaws101 is always featuring a hopped up saw of some sort in his videos -- usually something different each time! You guys need to see the videos on YouTube by hotsaws101 he has a 562 on steroids as he calls it 30" tsumura saw is bad my friend has no problem putting big trees in the dirt I would run it now it is ported but with that potential why not get one

Most recent I saw was after he recovered from being hurt I think running a big Stihl with go pro on it. He had put music to it but YouTube claimed copyright crap...
