Anybody know any long-standing Robin dealers who might still have parts on the shelf? (Just 4-5 years ago, I could get anything I needed online but no more) I am in dire need of a coil, part number 521-170010-20 (this also may go by a different FugiRobin number on the box). I have searched all corners of the internet and found nothing. Of course, there are maybe 10,000 other 2-stroke coils but no way to figure if there might be a retrofit.Robin1.jpgRobin2.jpg

We used to be a Robin dealer. I’ll look to see if we have anything. I’ll try to get back to you this weekend.

Really wish Fuji/robin would have caught on better because they made some very good stuff. Suppose vast majorly of Fuji’s two stroke business was Polaris from 71 or so till early 2000’s and they probably didn’t feel the need to branch out. Now what was Fuji/robin is part of Yamaha for lawn equipment engines which some of are just a rebrand of the robin. The Yamaha grizzly 700 had a few years with a efi Fuji/subaru engine in them that made more power than the original 686 Yamaha.

Of course Robin's major business worldwide is/was smaller diesel engines for anything from ag equipment to marine applications. I don't know if they have retained any of that or got out of everything.

Fujis main business was and is Subaru cars and they weren’t that huge in the smaller engine market. Believe they kinda relied on the Polaris sales to make that division profitable and since Polaris makes all their own engines now they didn’t have much reason to keep the division. If they did they would have had to pump lots of money into advertising and setting up more dealers since they were far and few between so they sold to Yamaha and concentrated on cars. Funny thing is all those large companies seem to own portions of each other. Fuji is partly owned by Toyota ect so I think they all share and the robin 4 cycle engines were almost identical in looks to a Honda just yellow vs red
