I had a bad case gasket on my 372 xtorq, had a thread about it. Went thru an entire rebuild.

You had problems with previous huskys thats why you went to stihl? Were they case gaskets?
No nothing major like that it was just a lot of niggly little things that piss me off .
both leaked bar oil the 262 was always a real pain in the ass to start hot or cold didn't didn't matter how I tune it. then I got a 390 it was ported snellerized and the last straw was one day I lost one of the brake handle bolts so I thought I better check everything and I found one of the cylinder bolts about two and a half turns out and I was always finding loose screws in the starter cover on both saws and I don't know I thought it was just me not doing regular maintenance properly
But none of my mates with stihls had any problems then I bought Stills and never had any of that trouble just never went back that and I just don't like spongy AV I love the rubber av on the 460 I don't suffer from vibes I am one of the lucky ones in this department .
