The goal of this endeavor was to raise funds for someone who was physically injured while wile participating in a charitable event. We were successful in achieving our goal.

The possibility of winning a prize was just icing on the cake, but sometimes cake taste better without the icing.

I'm sure the folks running this event did so as fairly as possible with the information they have, and we should accept the results accordingly. I do not think the winners should be re drawn, as that would also not be fair to them. But if names need to be added for further drawings, so be it. If anyone feels they were unfairly omitted, they can have my #. Let's move on.

I'm here. Sorry there is some drama. I assume the first 15 picks are good to go. If so I pick #20. 272 is my fav. 2 series saw. Was a hard choice as I have a real nice 395 that would love to see Scarr52 do his magic on.

I can NOT believe this. Can you IMAGINE what Rodney and Shemane are thinking right now. Why thefuk can't this be the charity it was supposed to be?

Duane, take a breathe man. I don’t think anyone here is so pissed they wouldn’t buy every other guy here a beer. There are always lots of questions when these things roll out and unless you’ve done one before you are bound to make some mistakes.

We have confirmed that the names selected are legit and should be allowed to select their prizes.

The only thing left undetermined is the anonymous donations and how to deal with any that are drawn.

I do feel for the guys that names were hidden and unretrieved but these discussions about not being able to post comments have happened many times. If they couldn’t follow the additional instructions to PM Scotty, Chris or I what is left for us to do?

If the desire was selfless charity don’t have the raffle at all but we all know that raffles raise donations. That being said, at some point the onus has to be on the donor to ensure his donation is properly counted.

This happens every time to some extent it seems. This seems to be a doozy. The real trick is that it tells you your donation has been completed and it is easy to stop there. Then it tells you to share on facebook. Which really turns people off. The trick is to hit the skip button there, then it will bring you to a page where you can leave a comment.

I agree 100 percent that this is the correct way to do it and what's drawn is the best there can be to be done.

Next time however, we need to spell it out with screenshots on how to do it, then it is truly as best as it can be done.

Proud to be a part of this, win or lose. Let's carry on with the fun now

First off thank you to everyone for organizing all this.

It looks like I am #41 if @JonCraig donated and some how was not added to the draw he can have my pick.

The whole reason for this GFM was to help someone in need.

Correct me if I am wrong. But you were assigned the number 41 to be added to the hat. The later post with the first 20 names are the picks so far.

I’m not arguing, here me out.
I don’t have Facebook, as I imagine there are others who don't as well, so adding the additional note isn’t possible. Regardless, I made it known how much I was contributing so I could be included. If I wasn’t included because I couldn’t make that note: then so be it. But, I understand bringing it up as a point of concern.

Either way; its all for a good cause, prizes or not.

You dont need facebook. There is an option to skip that step. Then after that there is the option to leave a comment. I wish I had a way to show you. Ot is a clear as mid process, likely done intentionally by GoFundMe

I guess i missed that step, fixating on the Facebook part for leaving a comment. Please disregard my previous mentioning of it. But, my statement that the contribution is what matters still stands.

I'm going to defer my selection and pay it forward. To me, seeing everyone come together to help Shemane made me a winner right out of the gate.

Thanks for all who donated, you guys are all great people and I'm proud to be associated with you all.
