Same log, same chain I switched it, same length bar! Both saws now have the screen removed from muffler. Its a fair race.

I've got to say, I think the white one was faster this time...
I didn't time them, but it sure looks faster!

Im still with the blue tape....white one seemed to rev higher but bog a little more...
blue sounded more "torquey" to me.

I can't tell which is faster. I think they might actually be perfectly even.
And that's after doing my best to time them.

I think the W saw not the blue saw was 1 second ahead. Now enter into the equation the blue was just rebuilt and the rings are not seated 100 percent! Still close enough to make the 020T cyl swap very feasible.

I got 7 seconds on the first vid blue tape, 6 on the W saw.

With the best I could use the youtube counter I got the first one with just over a 5 second cut and the second one with closer to 5 even. First cut each.

For a certainty, the 020t is an option. On anything other than a race saw. And who races too handles anyhow...

I don't think you would notice much difference in them when you were working up in a tree!! Very close!

You can cut slower with a faster saw but if its slower it aint going to get faster by pulling the throttle harder.

I'll race my weedwacker... but I'm kinda whacked... I try to make everything I own faster...
If I'm fixing saws for anyone else, this would be the option I give them. I'm impressed!

There is times I consider to drive to my closest Stihl dealer and pick up MS 200 part saws with rear handle, the only Stihl saw I like.....Maybe one day
