Yeah was a little tired until the 394 showed up. The cylinder looks good, so now it's time to gather parts.

That's unfortunate buddy.

It is, but I'm staying positive and upbeat. He wouldn't want me to be depressed and down, I just clear my head and stay strong.

I'm sorry for that Brett - I'm sure your dad would want you to celebrate as earnestly as possible in his absence.

I've been without my old man since the late 90's - he was a great mentor, buddy, and role model. I think about him every day.

Thank you Jacob and I'm sorry for your loss. It doesn't get any easier. I'm staying happy and positive as he would want me to be. My dad was a great man too, taught me a lot about construction, cars, business and I taught him stuff too. He got me hooked into Nascar and loved talking sports.

Thanks, I definitely am. I know he wouldn't want to see me all sad and down so I'm keeping positive and gonna enjoy the holidays

my dad was a tough ww2 combat
veteran.
he died on dec 27th 1995
never liked the holidays before that anyway
after that not at all
just get outside and keep yourself busy
best thing i found.

Amen to that. That's what I did today, I was up and out doing my gift shopping, got some maintenance done on the car, and built some stuff. All in all it was a great day
