The civic Center in Charleston wv
Only had about 7-8000 people in it
Both time's i saw them
But AC/DC played it like it was 100000
Angus young ran up and down the three
three level steps
Playing and greeting everyone.
Had to have a time out while he took oxygen
And the band played solos.
Both concerts people remember and
still talk about
Ozzy put on great shows too.

A very unpopular opinion.....

But

I think AC/DC is one of the worst bands ever.

I would not pay to watch em perform.
Personally I'm more a fan of Grunge Rock - Pearl Jam, Nirvana etc. If my mem is correct PJ is the only one left of the classy grunge bands.
There is another band I would like to see live if they ever come back to Norway, RHCP, special since John Frusciantes has returned as guitarist.

My wife’s favourite is Fleetwood Mac, not really my thing but we’ve gone the last three times through town. They put on a great show too. If you have some time to kill and want to be entertained look up Mick Fleetwood drum solo on YouTube and sit back and enjoy the show. Not saying he’s the best drummer out there (he isn’t) but they are fun to watch.

Probably my most cherished show (other than my first ever) was the final tour of The Tragically Hip. Gord Downie (RIP) was an incredible performer and person. FU Cancer!!!

I saw them twice. I should have learned from the first show but I wanted it to be great. They weren't, biggest disappointment of a live show that I've been to.

Saw these guys three years ago. I always enjoyed their music but it was more of a bucket list show. They didn't disappoint. Lots of energy and they sounded great. Flea still crosses the stage walking on his hands.

If you get a chance to check out Tool I recommend them highly. Like a metal version of a Pink Floyd show.

We are having a picnic today like always. Ry, Kim and I. Visiting my wife's father's grave at the vets fields I like to call it. I know a few placed there. All good men who got to see some or all of their remaining lives outside the military. Her dad Ed was Air Force but died at fifty four of prostate cancer quietly at home. He never did get his pilots licences but still served. Good guy... barely new him. He was gone, fast. His family members say he had every job on the planet at one time just like you... referring to me. Few compliments come my way so I'll take that.

Tip your whatever because others made sure you can say damn near anything here in the states and other places have done the same.

Tool is a bucket list show for me. We'll have to wait and see if they make the current re-scheduled date or if it gets pushed back again.
