Just about all the men in the family served. Some in conflict, some not, all came back, some not as they were. A great grandfather that fought in WW1 life came short in '59 from being mustard gassed. On the other side my grandfather fought in that same war, he got disemboweled by an Oldsmobile in '50. My other grandfather patched up sheet metal on airplanes aboard an aircraft carrier in the Pacific in WW2, lied about his age to get in. My father repaired Sikorsky's during the Korean conflict, he had an older brother in WW2 and the others all served as well, some cleaning up the mess in the pacific, some keeping rockets at the ready in the cold war, one carried the mail on a aircraft carrier. One brother is buried in Fort Smith Arkansas, his son went on to be a door gunner in Vietnam. There's a pile more uncles and cousins they all served. Even had a grandmother that pounded on a typewriter for the USN during WW2, met my grandpa at Navy Pier in Chicago. Good to be able to think of all them folks, even if for just once a year. Hope you all have fond memory's of someone who served and remember them well.

Wanna sell the tank and muffler
He fixed it himselfView attachment 242703
Have to find the muffler. Might need a shim block behind it. Don't remember. You can get them easy now days AM.

More pics firsts...

Would never have mentioned it but you said he has a hardon for the dead old *f-wordin thing. Tell him it ain't no fish ;)

More pics of the sorry old machine first then we decide if you can squeeze him for a Benjamin and shipping. My saw looks a lot better.
He might just be better swapping to this old dog bits and save the parts left over after. This saw is all OEM at least. No hood either. Might be here. Not sure. Nothing fancy just a 50mm saw. Was going to pull the side cover this week to check a clutch drum for someone with a bunch of old Stihl AM drums like Redds stuff it appears to be for 45 075 and another like 028 or 038. Not my strong suit on parts interchanges. I'm a bit more modern.

1127's bring the same money as these saws or more o_O

There's a deer farm here and one of my buddies brother in law works there so he invited them over to meet Ted Nugent when he was filming a hunting show. So while they are there, Ol' Ted reaches over and cops a feel of his wife's ass and she doesn't utter a peep for fear that her husband would knock out Ted Nugent. Only days afterward my friend was told what happened and yes Ted was spared. Lol

From what I remember about meeting Ted.....he needed a punch in the nose.

My wife’s favourite is Fleetwood Mac, not really my thing but we’ve gone the last three times through town. They put on a great show too. If you have some time to kill and want to be entertained look up Mick Fleetwood drum solo on YouTube and sit back and enjoy the show. Not saying he’s the best drummer out there (he isn’t) but they are fun to watch.

Probably my most cherished show (other than my first ever) was the final tour of The Tragically Hip. Gord Downie (RIP) was an incredible performer and person. FU Cancer!!!

Try some early Fleetwood Mac on for size. The Kiln House album is killer. We caught a lot of them during my deformative years when I lived in Belgium.

Here is a sample.

Then there is Albatross featuring Peter Green before he went over the edge.

I’m the oddball I guess. Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix.... basically most artists from the 70’s...can’t stand listening to them. But I’m good to go with most of the 80’s and 90’s stuff.

I'm just an old mfer.....grew up listening to that stuff.

I can listen to it fine. Just not what I turn to if I am alone in the car. If my wife is with me there is a mega playlist that goes on shuffle that covers all eras.

Some of my best cylinders are Jimi Hendrix cylinders, SRV is right with 'em. The best of the best however are Led Zeppelin cylinders, the suckers really crank.
