@Tor R How goes the Covid battle? Haven't seen any surge in cases being reported after the opening of some schools. Everything going smooth? Have they opened more than early years?
we're doing good, Gary.
There has been a few corona cases at the schools, but less then I thought it would be, we've opened up almost all schools nowadays.
When the second wave arrive I fear we're dumb enough to not copy/paste what we did at the first wave, economy etc, and we'll get it brutally at the second wave.

I've seen the numbers are high in Canada, what are the plans, Gary?

Thanks for your response Tor. Canada as a whole doesn't look good because of a couple of regions. Ontario and Quebec to the East of me represent most of our cases. It is heart breaking but over 80% of those cases have been in long term care / old age homes. They just weren't able to keep it out or from spreading from home to home.

The province I live in (population 1.2 million) has done quite well. We've had a total of 292 cases, 7 deaths but are down to 17 active cases and no one in hospital. Have only had 1 new case in 2 weeks, about before that the prior 9 cases were all tied to one cluster in a work place.

We have had lots of the restrictions lifted, starting May 4th. We still can't eat in a restaurant but can outside on the patio if they have one. They are talking like restaurants at 50% capacity will be open June 1st. Our kids will not open will not return to school until after summer. Schools are going to open on a limited scale in June to help students that has struggled with remote learning to improve their grades enough to graduate or be prepared for the next grade next year.

I wanna tell you *f-wordkers something right now...I don’t give a damn how old you are, how young you are...

...if you get the chance to see Chicago in concert...just f’ng do it..take the ol’ lady. One of the best bands that’s ever graced this planet.

REO Speedwagon the same...you wouldn’t believe the damn concert they put on. This is the *s-wordt we older *f-wordkers grew up with...they ain’t gonna last forever, and we ain’t gettin’ no younger.

Go see both if you get the chance...your ol’ lady will love that *s-wordt... She’ll sing every f’ng word...whether you *f-wordk up, sing the wrong *s-wordt, knew it or not. Them gals got that innate *s-wordt in their head about them songs...

Top two for me is Ted Nugent and Hank Williams Jr. , both are quite the showmen on stage.

Good morning fapsalots, another nice day in the North country today.

I'd rather have an ice pick stuck in my eye than to have to endure watching either one.

It's amazing how different we can be huh.

I reckon that's why there's so much variety.

Frankly I just want to see live music again. I was looking forward to seeing a few shows this year that have been cancelled/ postponed. I am not convinced that the new November date for Tool will happen at this point.

I will say one of the greatest showmen I have seen was Dwight Yoakam. Saw him in 2006 I believe and the man didn't leave the stage for 2 1/2 hours. Every band member/ back up singer / dancer got a break but he kept on going. Played solo acoustic while the others had a chance to rest and get a drink. The man just kept powering on. That has always impressed me more than his music ever did...
