Had an employer years ago that said after a fella made a monumental screw up.

To err is human; try not to be human too often.
Lot of maintenance and upgrades going on across the various aircraft squadrons and hangars on the flightline, with contractors. C-17’s alone are getting new Evapco cooling towers, new Trane chillers, new air compressors/dryers/manifold banks in the MCC rooms, etc. Lots of electrical upgrades as well for Auxiliary Power Units, etc. As a side job, I was appointed Facilities Manager last year for the three C-17 hangars and the various outlying buildings. They’re going to fill the position permanently here shortly...and it can’t come quick enough. Lot of BS to deal with, then working avionics/flight controls.
