Here’s a pic or two of the 24” grate inside the 29” pit...perfect fit! Gonna hit the bottom of the pit with some 9” x 4 1/2” x 1 1/2” Rutland fire brick to prolong the life of the bottom...should be good to go.

It’s fairly solid...went together well, loc-tited all the hardware. Hopefully I can get a few seasons out of it.
