That looks a little bigger than the black hornets we have here, but otherwise the same. Had one of those sumbishes pop me right above the upper lip when I was 18. 2nd July 1991. Never forget it. Was camping at the lake.
When I think "Murder hornet", I think of what they call Asian Hornets around here. They are brown and yellow striped, and about 2" long. Never got hit by one, but folks say its like catching a line drive to the affected area.

All those years of doing the "five knuckle shuffle" with Rosie Palmer finally caught up with ya.
I know the feeling. Working on the truck last weekend hurt a bit. Shoulders and arms werent used to that angle.

No BS, a couple of Aleve and a little Biofreeze really helps.
I gots insurance so I get Voltaren. It really works well. Only take when I hurt really bad. Probably bad side effects. Might make my wee wee fall off, but my everything dont hurt, and it dont make me talk funny or see leprechauns and unicorns.
