Ya don’t see that any where up here other than a new one

Look at the frame. No rust proofing at all. I cant remember where it was built. Its a US truck by the tag. Maybe somebody that knows the VIN stuff can tell or I could get off my lazy ass and google it. Maybe Kentucky?
Kinda want to hit the frame with some POR15 and then a good under coating, but that takes prep and time I dont have.

77-79 had zinc coated metal put in some of the more rust prone areas, like cab corners 76 started to but was little in comparison to the following years. Same thing with boxes.
So maybe 73-79 would work. I used to know where a nice 78 1/2 extendo cab 150 was. Had some front end damage and motor/trans was robbed, but a straight clean truck, as long as you liked orange.

Have you worked on a holographic web press?

What happened to the Mustang?

He still has it....got interested in trucks though. He's collected a 93 Chevy 4x4 with no rust, and this 74 Ford F250 4x4.

Ext cab would work. His front end ain't in bad condition.

There's not much that can't be worked out mixing and matching as long as you have enough to mix and match with.

Extended cab changes wheelbase is only problem there. If it doesnt have a pickup bed on it, you could move the cab mounts and make it work. Would be a stubby bed F-250 ext cab. Would look cool, as long as youre willing to do a little metal finessing to make it work. Thats assuming its a long bed F-250.

Is it bad if the oil filter looking plate blows off the side of your B&S 21hp V twin? o_O

She got some gas in her but started right up. It stunk of fuel and muh oil looked like piss when it came blasting out of it. So... three hours with a 22" instead of the 42"sucked in this heat, midday today. Not a good idea to store it with a full tank of gas one would assume, mfer

Just finished dinner and it's time for a shower, sleep, rinse and repeat. Flood rains tomorrow all day possibly :(

Survived another day :)

From what I can gather, it sounds like maybe the old gas ate the float needle or the float and it filled the crankcase with gas. If it blew the filter off, then yeah, no bueno. Worse if it was thin enough to wash the oil off the bearing surfaces. Was any fire associated with any of this?
Did you perhaps hear knocking/loud rattling sounds just prior to filter eject?

So um, I MIGHT know where there is a bone stock all original never been painted 1973 Bronco. Factory hard top. 302 V8. Factory auto trans. Factory AIR CONDITIONED. metallic burnt copper with white top. White interior. Has had aftermarket rims and tires put on, but not much else last time I saw it. Thats been several years ago. Original owner who was a good friend of mine sold it to the present owner. Original owner has passed. Current owner has changed jobs. I used to talk to him regularly. Need to look him up. That truck would be EXPENSIVE, but it would be something not a lot of people get to experience.

The bed is beat to *s-word. A ext cab with a stubby flat bed would be cool. Yeah...its a long wheel base.

Let me get a hold of Tim Hughley. He's got some pretty cool stuff. He's a Mustang guy. His kids are named Ford and Shelby. He had that extended cab. Pulled the motor and trans to go into a fastback stang he was building.

That sounds like a sweet ride, but expensive? Measure it against the new version that's going to eventually come out. Surely no where near the cost and ten times better and a hundred times cooler than the new one.

Good morning guys. It looks like we've made it through this round of heat, rain is on the way and it's supposed to struggle to hit 80 today. After this week me and my tits will take it. We dodged the bullet on the furnace cleaning this weekend but will probably get it straight in the ass next weekend. Looking like Sunday will be an R&R day for next week. Have a good one!

Good morming ladies,
45 minute at the cycle, result of the day 720 calories. Kinda happy with it since my legs was worned out before I started. Funny to cycle down afterward, going down to the wattage where I started it feels like nothing, but it felt bloody hard first.
We’re getting rain later, gotta work at my neightbour house until it start.
