exactly and working on a ford is like working on a husky
you have to drag the whole tool chest under with you lol
So far not too bad. Drive shafts and transfer case are out. Only used 10,12, 13 mm wrenches and sockets. Screwdriver. Hammer. Flashlight.
Now, if I can Jack the trans up a little bit, I might be able to take the trans mount bolts out of the piece I want off and slip it out without taking the mount or crossmember out.

Now, if I can Jack the trans up a little bit, I might be able to take the trans mount bolts out of the piece I want off and slip it out without taking the mount or crossmember out.
what year is it ?
most of the early to mid 90s was easy if you wasnt afraid of using a prybar and hammer
6 or 8 bolts and pry up the braces and beat it out of the way
lol if you move it forward you can use it to hold transmission up

Don't jack it up by the "reservoir"

95. Put the Jack at the front of the trans bellhousing. Only had to raise it 1/4". Left crossmember and trans mount in place.:cool:
