It would take 3 days for you to get a work order, then order a disc, then get on the list to check out a grinder. Then youde forget to order a new face shield....
How you doin MS?

I'm good Dallas.
Was cleaning up a little more of my mess in the shop.
Had to give you a little *s-worde, or you'd think I was mad at ya.
Maddie eats better than I do. Susan tries to feed me green stuff. Says its good for me. I think shes tryin to collect on that insurance policy.
Found the house keys finally, so thats a good thing.

Reservoir. Ok. I'll check that, as soon as I find it. Maybe you meant the oil pan?
Anyhoo, its a 4R70W(old Ferd #AODE-W). Still has the integrated cooler in the Rad.
Lines etc are all good. Fluid is coming from rear of the pan area. Doesnt look like the pan gasket. Got that off and cleaned up. Looks like its gonna be the transfer case adapter to transmission(not using the word "tranny"" on purpose) gasket. Got one ordered. Gonna put new filter, gasket, adapter gaskets on both ends, and all seals while its apart. Fluid looks pretty good. Magnet in the pan had the usual fines, but no slivers or chunks.

Reservoir as in the dipstick and tube to check and to add trans fluid. Check that as well. Glad it's clean with no chunks, sounds like you'll be good to go pretty soon. How long ago did you change out that fluid? If it was some time ago might wanna change it out as well.

So you mean the thing that the tube and the dipstick goes into, right? That would be called a "sump", or pan for short. The thing I took a picture of. Have to take that off to drain the fluid, since most dont have a drain plug, unless its an industrial or commercial application. Uhaul trucks with those trans do have drain plugs FYI.

Well where I come from they are called reservoirs, so open your vocabulary to different terms. I'd recommend draining and refilling the fluid, might as well since you're replacing gaskets and all.

Maybe you should go check the "reservoir" on your girlfriend. That probably needs draining and cleaning.
