The display on my 25 year old Fluke took a crap. Upgraded so I can use it on hybrid/elec vehicles too.

That's a nice one. I am in the market for one and have been looking around. Fluke is awesome and lasts forever!

Who on here would know if it's worth while buying a Mac 125 with no compression. It is a very nice looking saw and I don't have any pics as of yet but my neighbor has it and wants to get rid of it. Not sure what to offer him and maybe there is absolutely no parts available for this....

$75 and a 12 pack of his favorite brew sounds like a good deal to me, if he doesn't drink some chicken or something.

There's nothing else like it, so yes if the price is right. Might not be so bad to repair, possibly. If nothing else it can be sold for parts to recoup your money.

AS is off-line right now I'll try and find the thread when I can. Pin to crown, overall height, ring land to crown, it was very different. If you want cheap the VEC is the answer.

They aren't that bad. Son has the Rock Island one. Double stack at that. Maybe the bigger grip anchors it better.
