Worked on me deck today. Apparently, my deck is older than I thought. Sagging and somewhat rotten. My deck is too close to the ground. Had to get Susan to help me with my deck. Shes been all over it today. Hopefully we can get my deck back in shape soon. I asked her if I could make my deck bigger. She said no, it was big enough, but I think she was lying. Who doesnt want a bigger deck?
Anyways, heres a pick of my deck. I know y'all all like deck pics.

Just wind and rain so far. Still a little warm for snow at the moment. Got the 199 dialed in on my 346. It made a pretty good difference I think. I'll do a test cut when the weather is better.

I see...I ain’t much of a liquor drinker. I learned many yrs ago, liquor made me real short-fused, put me in jail a time or three, throwing punches and knockin’ em down. I really ain’t never cared for it since those days decades ago. I have an occasional yearly drink of it at Thanksgiving, Christmas with my family...Wild Turkey, Henry McKenna, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam. I did have 4-5 Vodka drinks with my female friend, moved in behind me, neighbor, last week. But I had my path home as we sat around shooting the *s-wordt, playing tunes, laughing, cutting up.

I can drink a cold beer ten ways to hell with folks...all night long ‘til the sun comes up. I don’t need that liquor...I’ve always feared the short-fuzed outcome, no matter who was in front of me, it didn’t make a damn. And there ain’t no sense in that *s-wordt. My drinking liquor did nothing shy of not only a buzz...it created a lot of problems for me. I know the Jarhead in me didn’t help none. And I’ve created some dysfunction along the way with folks...but I was the fool. We stayed so high strung on any liquor, beer back in my Corps days.

The Vodka drinks I had with my backyard neighbor gal, last week...probably the most liquor I’ve drank in quite some time.

Liquor is a fine deal for most...it just ain’t for this Jarhead...I picked my poison with it many yrs ago...I don’t need no more discontent in my life because of me and that influence.

After what I’ve been drug through and the mental weight I’ll never shed...I think I made the right choice.

I remember one time back in the 5th grade, I won’t ever forget this...teacher asked to name the type of music you listen to and the bands...then she’d turn around and ask the class by a show of hands, who’s heard of these bands, per each kid telling his stuff. I wrote down Deep Purple, Hendrix, Mountain, BTO, Marshall Tucker, Skynyrd. No kids ever showed their hands...in a classroom of 25 or so kids.

No wonder I’m so f’d up...but this ol’ Jarhead gonna get it done. All I can do is what I can do!

My dads slow pitch softball team was called the 714s. Outfielders had lawn chairs lol.
