Don’t know why this crossed my mind...but here it goes. Any of you older *f-wordkheads remember knocking down Old Crow, cheapest *s-word you could get, back in the 70’s. Was about on par with Black Label beer...just rotgut *s-word, only in liquor version. And damn Schlitz Malt Liquor, f’ng Old Milwaukee, Miller beer!

How in the hell have some of us made it this long...I was a kid, 10 yrs old in ‘77...but my predecessors, ten older brothers and sisters had zero *f-wordks to give back in those days. Them *f-wordkers we’re getting me high, doing mushrooms, etc. It’s amazing. How the hell this Jarhead ended up where he’s at now...who the hell knows.

I’m sure some of you folks have similar experiences...no doubt!

They were feeding me Rorer 714’s...lol...f’ng quaaludes! Two most popular shirts back in those days...the ‘frisbee’ and damn Hang Ten t-shirts.

I remember one time back in the 5th grade, I won’t ever forget this...teacher asked to name the type of music you listen to and the bands...then she’d turn around and ask the class by a show of hands, who’s heard of these bands, per each kid telling his stuff. I wrote down Deep Purple, Hendrix, Mountain, BTO, Marshall Tucker, Skynyrd. No kids ever showed their hands...in a classroom of 25 or so kids.

No wonder I’m so f’d up...but this ol’ Jarhead gonna get it done. All I can do is what I can do!

the kid is a first year apprentice and 21 years old
