be glad you are getting a check and I’m sure some on here don’t have that luxury
Feeling that the government should make the difference between what you are being paid and your regular pay is rediculous
As far as the amount of work you do while you are off is up to you
Act like you are on the clock and only put that amount of time in
If I would get a full week of pay when I was off I’d have a new house new car and anything else I wanted
Right now I’m making about 2200 more than is possible on unemployment per week max

we don’t have sick days or vacation days
If we don’t work we don’t get paid even if things in the world was good

Dall, I have an immense respect for anyone that works for a living. I don’t respect people that chose to put others down continually. You yourself spend a good portion of the year collecting benefits. I and our entire mgmt team could have maintained our entire pay but it would have cost 5 or 6 others 100% of their regular income. The fact that we pay in to an employment insurance fund that tries to keep people working and spread out the financial pain is some I am grateful for. The fact is I have and continue to pay more in to this fund than I will ever get back.

From what I can see of your expertise in this area is only based on your personal experience, not something that is relevant in an entirely different country.

As usual though your opinion is based on what your eyes see with your head up your ass.

well i use to work more and i go through a union hiring hall for work but when they did the war on coal they got rid of alot of our work
you feel you are entitled to more than what everyone else is just because you work in a office you want reimbursed 100% while you are off and want sympathy well you wont get it from me or anyone who doesnt have the option to work from home or even work right now
the ones who cant work right now are the ones who will get sympathy
the job im on now is the only boilermaker job going on in the country and i know alot of guys who counted on this work and was also sent home because of this *B-S....
you can suck me if you think i give one *f-word about what you think of me
while you are here trying to make a dollar on saws and stuff you sell from the guys on this site remember they are the ones breaking their backs and sweating their balls off while you are in a climate controlled office looking down on them
so go to your safe space and cry yourself to sleep because you dont get a full paycheck
just remember there are others who are not getting a check at all or if they do its minimal amount
and if anyone has their head up a ass its your head in your bosses ass

meanwhile, fan stopped working. Thought it was shot. Put my hand on the top and it’s hot as sh:t.
Thinking the capacitor is probably shot I open things up. Seems the smart previous guy put in an over sized capacitor and THATS burning up the fan motor.

switching out the capacitor and changing out the fan motor just to be safe.

this thing is 21years old and still kicking. Trying to keep it going, without a whole replacement.

Nah it was not too long after I started dating my GF. Friends' kid's bday party. I didn't know very many people but they'd just dropped some maple so I found a niche to fit in the friend group. It made me social enough if I wore that and posed for a few pics. Getting the driller 2159 in there was a bonus. I miss that saw.
