My comment was a general rule of thumb...virus bullshitt going around or not. BPS/Cabela’s has always been higher than any other retailer/LGS, online, etc out there. What you buy in times of dire straits is solely up to you and what the current situation dictates its’ worth to you.
I would simply buy and stock up in the ‘non-dire straits’ times and buy from lesser markup folks. And if you feel the need to sell off whatcha got, condition, etc...let me know what it is and how much. I’ve had two online purchase Weatherby’s delivered in the last two weeks, another two coming UPS the end of this week, already halfway here by tracking. But no doubt, the shipping and inventory has and will certainly take a hit and take longer now as the ‘mad rush panic’ sets in for some folks.
