Okay! Here’s the question of the day! Ever seen a bar tip with two manufacturers on each side? This is the same bar tip. Not messing around. Doesn’t appear to be home made. It’s on a Homelite bar.View attachment 219652View attachment 219653

So obviously someone on the nose station that day wasn't paying attention to what parts bin when they loaded the jig.

A pic of our latest grandson this is number 4View attachment 219655

Right on Todd congratulations

Thanks Steve how are you doing today

I'm fairly tolerable I think. Those fires under control yet? I can't hardly stand to see another one of those koala bears running around with its legs on fire and ass catching. Poor little bastids anyway.

Supposed to run and tune better, and pre EPA. Been nla for quite a while now.
I think some of older low number carbs just have a bigger main jet. That said, not sure if the metering circuit is the same or intermingled with the low or low side transfer ports in the carb. An IPL should tell sumtin.

Thanks Mike. I figured there were "better" parts I just didn't know why. I'm starting the clean up of parts for mine today. It'll be a while before I get it completed. Mine came with a Mahle jug and WJ-39.

Very nice. Mine is a Mahle, but the carb was not there when I got it. I'm guessing it would have been a WJ-39 because my saw is a 1992.
