50cc or so.

I'm with you. Always prefer the .325 for 50cc class saws. Up to about 55cc is where the break to go to 3/8 kind of starts. So, for me and what saws i own, I stay with .325 up to my 254XP. Above that I gp with 3/8, but I have done some experiments. .325 on my 262XPG worked pretty good.. You can have some fun with one of your 372's by running .325 with a 9 pin rim sometime. I get that not everybody likes to, or is as good at filing .325 as 3/8, and it is different. But it is so smooth compared to 3/8 and quicker IMO on any of the smaller saws. .

Oregon's new .325 LGX is out now, but I haven't tried it yet cause it's only been available for a couple weeks. Will order a case of it on my next chain order. The deal is that the LGX does not have the extra bumper link as does the LPX. What I've been told is that it is essentially the Carlton K1/K2 cutter profile on an Oregon chassis. Leaves some open questions, right? Is it just the Carlton profile, or the actual K cutter itself? Oregon always seems to file better than Carlton for me, so I hope it's Oregon steel. Screw it, I'll just order some today and we'll all find out by the end of the week. LOL
