-17F feel like -27F with the windchill.

The good news for all of you is it starts to break for us today. 0 by the end of the day and forecast is for 21F tomorrow. Down right mild after the last two weeks. It should be headed your way in the next few days...

@Genius , will the furnace not run at all or is it running in very short cycles? We've had issues with a couple that cycle because the "flame sensor" is dirty and doesn't detect the flame when the gas comes on so it shuts the gas off. That one is a simple fix, remove the rod and clean with some fine sand paper and reinstall. The flame sensor is a small metal probe that is normally found sticking into the outer most burner (could be either left or right side depending on where your burner gets fed from.)

Watching the weather channel and they show a gas tanker sliding on ice then bursting in to flames. Not sureif they could show that in respect to the driver

I got her going. It was a simple fix. Dead batteries in the thermostat.
