He might not pay enough and the locals are bypassing the log broker and maybe hauling them a little further to the big mill and making better money. Just a wild guess.

We've got a log broker in our area. He dosent saw anything just buys logs and sorts them and sells them to different mills. I never understood why you'd want to sell to one of this guy's. I guess there's a convience thing to it. But being loyal to a mill, sending quality logs, trimmed up nice is where you'll be best off long term.

It was really good. I hardly feel like the whiny *b-word face I was when I posted earlier...

My secret ingredient is a can of the Rotel tomatoes for just a little added kick.
I was in your shoes a couple weeks ago. It sucks being sick.

Nope, precision rifle is 308. I haven't ventured into the AR10 platform.

The only non 5.56 I've got is my 450 Bushmaster
I have one that I have been building, but it usually gets sidelined to saw stuff. I'm down to picking a bolt and hand guard and it should be done.

I don't really use a recipe. This batch was:

1lb Ground Meat (I use chicken) browned in olive oil seasoned with pepper and garlic powder.
3 large cans of diced tomatoes
2 small cans of tomato paste
1 can Rotel Original
chopped onion
chopped zucchini
chopped celery
chopped bell pepper
can of sliced black olives
dry oregano and parsley flakes to taste
garlic to taste
sugar to taste (helps hide the bitterness or canned taste of the tomatoes)

feel free to add or delete anything else you want. We split that pot and then my wife adds mushrooms to hers.

Simmered for about 3 hours last night, cooled and rested in the fridge overnight then reheated and simmered for another hour with time to adjust flavour if needed. We really find it taste so much better the second day after it has rested and been reheated.

I will try and scan my mom's original recipe that I started from years ago but it calls for Medium ground beef browned in shortening... So 80's style cooking...

Went to church this mornin now I'm trying to figure out which kinetic splitter to buy. I didn't realize there were so many choices.priced any were from 1800 to close 3000. I kinda like the cheaper but somtimes it ends up being more in the long run
I made that mistake a few years ago with a petrol splitter
