It's a bone in rib roast/ribeye. I cooked it to 130° internally which it a little over done for prime rib. Wife and son prefer it not rare, I could care less.What chunk of beef is that?
Not to be picky, but it looks a little to done for me. I prefer my beef fresh off the cow
I considered the 458 route, I really wanted one but it's not legal to hunt with here.
I was going to say F-it and still build it to hunt with the odds of getting caught are slim to none in my property, but after looking at the ballistics of the two the 450 ain't to far behind the 458.
The only thing the 458 has on the 450 is being able to use heavy bullets, but I don't care about that at this point.
If the Hearing Protection Act gets signed then that'll be a different story if I can't get my 450 quiet enough
