After a few hundred thousand miles with a trailer a guy can tell who knows their sh!t, can't he? Just carry your chair and beer around the campground and set up when you see a newb. Always good for a laugh or 20

You better believe it.

I'd rather sit at a campground and watch people set up camp instead of people watch at a county fair or amusement park.

Sad part is that same dude just drug that camper 200 miles down the road at 60mph, cutting every corner short jumping the curb lol

That is scary.

JimmyinNC had a buddy of his pick up a brand new fifth wheel enclosed trailer in the DC area a month or so back.

He said his buddy never pulled a trailer before, and he has to get to the trailer lot on time so they could install a hitch in the back of his truck.

I never did hear if the guys trailer arrived in NC in one piece.

Ha. Few years ago I watched a minivan attempt to back a pontoon trailer in the water to retrieve the boat. After they got both tires in the water instead of one on the dock, they tried loading the pontoon. Didn't wanna get wet, so they didn't back it in far enough. Got it hooked up and started winching. Didn't wanna get tired, so they quit about 8' short of tight. Headed out like that...I figured they'd stop once the trailer was on level land and finish bringing it forward... nope. They got out on the road and headed south with 13' of a 24' pontoon boat hanging out behind the axle. I should have followed them, but we laughed hard enough at them already

Here's another good one. I guess you had to be there, but you'll get the idea. I was building dugouts at our local little league park about 6 years ago. Sitting in the truck with a/c waiting for a redi mix truck, we see a minivan pull in to the park. I figure it's a family taking their kids to the jungle gym. Nope. A skinny little guy, his BBW, and their dog. They put their dog on the slide and let him go down a few times, then they went on it. They both got on the swings for a few minutes. They played here, they played there, and then she looks over there.....at the teeter totter. You gotta picture this...the guy goes maybe 125. She's about 3 hundo. That's when I elbow my helper next to me. "Watch this". She gets on, he gets on....OMFG. This dude is leaning and leaning into it and can't get his end to move. He starts to bounce to get it to go down...no dice.
Every time were hanging out that story gets told the best we can while still laughing about it

i got to pick up a couple pigs in the morning : )
I just shined up the 40 year old pig roaster tonight (powerwasher and flat black) and loaded it on a trailer for a friend's daughter's graduation open house. Can't wait for Saturday afternoon

The last time I unloaded hay it was at 800lbs at a time from a cat loader last summer. A/c was on too. But I remember really well as a kid loading square bales into a truck and then a 16' trailer. Throw that sh!t 8' in the air and the loose stuff falls down on your sweaty back and face. I always loved it when I was the stacker

We only did 850 bails tonight. But I had to unload 2 1/2 loads by myself until some help showed up.
I'm getting to old for climbing up and down the elavator.

Been there... I would crank the elavetor up higher then needed so I could run 10-15 bales up maybe before stacking. Never failed a paddle would grab a few string and bust bales...

Have you seen the "new" round balers Everyone is using?? Or the "brand new" big square balers?? Lol

There are days I miss square baling... Just fewer and fewer every year.
