We had a big bonfire a few years ago and about 20 minutes after the fire was started an opossum ran out of the big pile smoking with sparks coming off of it's hair[emoji1]

It probably tired playing dead and then realized i gotta get the *f-word outta here its gettin' hot.

Had that with rabbits once with a big brush pile.

We don't have them here, Thank God.

I'd rather deal with skunks instead of snakes any day though.

Exactly why I let it starve. I got it's seven little ones with a 12 gauge. One by one, wondering around the yard. I used a piece of 10' x 1" conduit with 1/8" cable choker to pick up the carcass and dump them into the neighbor's back yard. He didn't mind. He's a real sport.

Rule one is never shoot skunks on your property. If something is pestering the skunk and it might spray, shoot the pestering animal.

I always found shooting stuff in the head sometimes brings very strange results. Not all of them are positive.

I use my cookies to bank up fires in the fireplace. They work great.

I put Ac in the shop and wishing it was bigger. I put 8000 because it fit the window.

I turned the AC on for a few days a week or so back, the house still seemed humid in it, I got worried that our AC was taking a chit.

I went downstairs yesterday to make sure the freezer and fridge was fine before we went camping and looked over the furnace while I was down there.



I still had the humidifier turned on from the winter
