Make sure you get an osmotic laxative like Miralax instead of a stimulant like Dulcolax. It's gentler on the intestines, so there's less strain. The stool softener suggestion is good too. Anything to keep from blowing a gasket.

I was thinking this morning that when I was a kid, anybody who "had an operation" would be in the hospital at least a week, then be a wreck for a while after. This is one area where I like the modern way better.

I was thinking this morning that when I was a kid, anybody who "had an operation" would be in the hospital at least a week, then be a wreck for a while after. This is one area where I like the modern way better.

Yep. I had surgery yesterday morning. Today I went to town, came back home, caught some cattle, sorted out the calves, and hauled them to the barn.

Now the "I" here is doing some heavy lifting. LOL

Glenda drove me to town, but I did walk around the store a little bit.

Bubba handled the feed, the trailer, the gates, etc. I merely stood in the right places to steer the cattle.

I'm more comfortable standing anyhow, so it wasn't a bad thing.

All I did was added to my growing collection of jars of mushrooms.
Can't wait for cool weather cooking season for the three on the right. Can't wait for a quiet night at home for the other one.

I've never needed a track saw. To ensure a straight cut, use a piece of flat steel or aluminum stock screwed down on the floor. Doesn't need to be full length even, just snap a line that corresponds to where the base of the saw will be when making your cut, attach the straight edge, and slide the saw along it.

This assumes that you are wanting to make a cut on the floor to transition to the new flooring.

The way this floor is, the good side would need the straight edge unless I used angle.
