I cleaned the house windows today.
Then gave the Chevelle a scrub down.

Nice work! 66 or 67? Can't see the front grille (metal vs plastic like 66-67 GTOs).

From what you've said about motor, and I can see from the brakes (nice to be able to stop) it's got lots of upgrades. Did it start out as an SS and missing the emblems?

A good friend has a black 66 SS w/375/396. I love the old 60-70s cars.

67. It was a 283 powerglide car. I got it with a 283, a Saginaw 3 speed and the column and pedals out of a 66. Found out later that the seats are from a 66-67 Buick because of where the tilt knob is located on them.
Now it has a 2007 5.3 with a cam and headers, 4L60 trans. Borla mufflers. SPC tubular front control arms, Currie adjustable rear trailing arms, Hellwig sway bars front and rear, Baer track 4 brakes, Moser 9" rear. Billet Specialties wheels. 17x10 rear 17x8 front

G'day All, was a "Meh" weekend overall. Puppy life is fun but even more fun when the adult dog gets into something and is asking to go out every hour all night. Finally had a brain smrt and remembered that we should have some canned pumpkin in the pantry, gave her some of that and she turned around pretty quickly. Planned to spend yesterday cruising on the boat but temps in the 60's and rain in the forecast dampened that plan.

Almost 2" of rain in the last week and everything is green again, close to the same in most northern areas where the fires are so that is good news. Would love to be able to say no more smoke this year...

Nice ride. Must be quick and drive down the road good.

I like the old GMs where you can swap out everything from an I-6 to a 454/455 and it bolts right up. Most of other drivetrain and running gear too. Cheviacts, Oldsmoicks, Buveys, Pontimobiles,.......... A friend put a 455 GTO/muncie in a plain Jane Olds F85.

I've never played with the newer GM engine/drivetrain swaps into older bodies.

This weekend was the first time this car went down the road since the first week I owned it. I bought it back in 2000....
